The landscape of K–12 education is rapidly evolving, moving from simple digital making to complex problem-solving with Artificial Intelligence. At DFRobot, we believe in equipping educators with the best tools and knowledge to navigate this shift. That is why we are thrilled to announce that DFRobot will be a featured presenter at the upcoming 2026 Fab Educators Summit on Friday, January 30th.

We invite educators, makers, and curriculum designers from around the world to join us virtually for a day of connection, learning, and exchange.
We are proud to highlight two significant sessions featuring experts from our ecosystem in Shanghai, covering both cutting-edge AI technology and social impact in education.
Speaker: Rebecca Jiang, Operations Manager at Mushroom Cloud Makerspace
Time: Friday, Jan 30, 11:00 AM EST

With over 8 years of experience managing one of Shanghai’s most renowned makerspaces, Rebecca Jiang will share insights on bridging the digital divide. Her session, co-presented with Räquel Martin from Suriname, explores how makerspaces serve as catalysts for inclusion and how to effectively implement maker education in rural and underserved communities.
Speaker: Jiaman Li, Senior Technical Trainer at DFRobot
Time: Friday, Jan 30, 11:00 AM EST

As AI becomes integral to our daily lives, teaching students how machines learn is just as important as teaching them how to code. Jiaman Li will dive deep into how educators can demystify Artificial Intelligence for K-12 students through hands-on strategies and creative integration.
The Fab Educators Summit is more than just a conference; it is a global movement. This year’s event features presenters from 19 different countries, offering a diverse range of perspectives on digital makerspaces.
We are honored to present alongside industry legends, including the keynote speaker Dr. John Maloney, the developer behind Scratch and founder of MicroBlocks. His keynote, "The Power of Tinkerability," aligns perfectly with DFRobot’s philosophy of rapid iteration and prototyping in engineering education.

Engineering with Paper (Godwyn Morris, USA)
Modular 3D-Printed Neuron Kits (Sedat Yalçin, Turkey)
Clean Energy Projects for Youth (Ebenezer Anyadiegwu, Nigeria)
With so many breakout sessions to choose from, you may not be able to attend everything live. No worries—all recorded sessions will be posted on eduFAB YouTube channel after the summit so you can watch and revisit them later.
