basically, the protocal in the bluetooth devices are encrypted by the producer. so it won't accessable.

Leff 2015-02-11 15:31:10 To me, it seems like Intel-based Bluetooth modules do not work with Bluno because they use Generic Attribute Profile (GATT) to discover devices and their services. Any chance this can be fixed by a firmware update somehow?

woops, actually, it seems that the laptop bluetooth just doesn't support our bluno~ so far, on the market, a lot of bluetooth devices only support their own protocal, better situation is for android& apple, for they are popular, but the windows system, the bluetooth devices provider are quit different in different country, so we are unable to adapt to every one.
it's a pity.but with wifi, that's a lot easier!

Leff 2015-02-10 13:39:03 So I got a new laptop, windows 8, has Intel wireless Bluetooth(R) 4.0 +HS adapter, but still my Bluno or Bluno nano wont connect. They are still not discoverable. What could be the issue, do I need to install some driver for it?

Leff 2015-02-05 14:46:54 I just ordered a bluetooth 4.0 dongle from amazon. It should work now right?
gk359
gk359 2015-02-04 22:09:09 Bluno leverages Bluetooth 4.0, so as leff mentioned, you need to check to make sure your PC supports that. I had no problem using my newish Macbook. Good luck...

Maybe it's for the protocal difference. what's your computer system? mac or windows?
have you tried apple/windows/android phone(4.3+)?
