I've assembled two of these bots and they walk well. However, they doen't avoid obstacles. If I point a flashlight at it, then it will turn and walk away from the light but it doesn't see objects. I've tried light and dark objects. The pictures showing how the connections are made to the Bluno Beetle are not very clear. A better diagram of all the connections would be a good addition to the documentation. Do I have something reversed? Help, please. I'm teaching a workshop tomorrow for 8 Cub Scouts and they'll each be assembling one. I'd like they're final product to work like the bot in the video. Thanks!

Hey, I'm enjoying building this robot, but here's a suggestion to improve the Assembly manual (not the second draft...) for future readers: page 22 BEFORE 23! The wire wasn't plugging in for me, so I SOLDERED it to the terminal. I didn't know that the screw had to be loosened with a miniature screw driver. Thanks.

Why are the bolts for the micro servos so difficult to screw in all the way?

Poor/ weak legs that can't let the ant walk? Please check here for a clue http://www.dfrobot.com/foru...

Fortunately, it turned out that the only problem was that we had not actually connected the IR distance sensor on either robot :( It had gotten lost in the mess of wires. Once it was actually plugged in, everything worked as expected. Thanks!
