Improving Laser Detection with SEN0158 on Low-Reflective Surfaces

I’m currently working with the SEN0158 IR positioning camera and facing some challenges when trying to detect laser spots reflected from diffuse, low-reflectivity surfaces at a distance of around 2–3 meters. I’d really appreciate hearing about any methods, tweaks, or experimental setups you’ve used to improve detection reliability in similar scenarios.
Additionally, does anyone know whether the SEN0158 supports manual control of analog gain or exposure through register configuration? I wasn’t able to find detailed documentation beyond the basic I2C communication described in the wiki, so any insight or references would be very helpful.
Thanks in advance for your support!
