LBH6510S Fan Replacement for LattePanda Sigma — Sleeve Bearing Failure in Continuous Operation

we are having issues with fans on multiple LattePanda Sigmas in a continuous operation environment.

 

Similar problems have been discussed here, but has there been a definitive solution? The fan seems to struggle on startup — it attempts to spin up, detects an issue, retries, and eventually runs quietly. This points to a sleeve bearing failure, which is expected to worsen over time.

 

The easiest fix would be a direct replacement, but I can't find the Li Da Motor LBH6510S available as a retail product anywhere.

 

Does anyone know of a compatible drop-in replacement (same dimensions, 12V, 4-wire PWM, 1.27mm pitch connector)?Has anyone successfully swapped in a dual ball bearing alternative for better longevity?Or is there a way to source the LBH6510S separately?
