SEN0657 Zero'ing wind issue

| 6001H | Wind speed zeroing register | 0x06 | Write 0xAA, wait for 10 seconds, and the device will be zeroed |
I am passing the following to the unit: 0x01, 0x06, 0x60, 0x01, 0x00, 0xAA, 0x46, 0x75.
The message appears to be acknowledged successfully (it is echo'd back two times). I delay 10 seconds after this but am still not seeing the wind zero out. What am I doing wrong??? I am testing at my desk so there is no wind!
