The handwheel enable button is unresponsive.

The manual pulse generator has an enable button. Pressing it lights up the indicator light, but the machine tool doesn't respond when I crank the handwheel. Cranking the handwheel without pressing the enable button doesn't move the coordinates either.
I used a multimeter to measure the two contacts of the enable button; the continuity is normal when pressed. I checked the enable signal status in the system diagnostics, but it wasn't received.
Could it be that the enable signal wire and common wire inside the handwheel are reversed? Or does the enable signal need to be connected to a specific pin?
The handwheel uses a six-pin aviation connector, and I soldered the wiring myself. I suspect it's soldered incorrectly, but I can't find the standard definition.
Does anyone know what this could be?
