can a MEMS Gas Sensor be installed outside

I previously made this outdoor measurement with a commercial handheld gas detector that was placed in a plastic box that shielded it from rain, but let air pass through.   This measurement was VOC pollution next to a factory.

I would like to perfect the technique using a Gravity sensor.    Has anyone installed one of these outdoors for many days?   My main worry is condensation forming, so I was thinking of covering the circuitry with a rubberized coating.   TIA

Can be used outdoors, but not directly exposed or sealed with rubber coating, as it will block gas diffusion.
Common approach is using a weatherproof enclosure with a PTFE breathable membrane, which blocks water but allows VOCs to pass through.
