Can't program Bluno Nano with v1.97 FW

I'm trying to upload new FW from the Arduino IDE to my Bluno Nano (v1.3 running v1.97 FW) but I keep getting this error:
Sketch uses 444 bytes (1%) of program storage space. Maximum is 32256 bytes.
Global variables use 9 bytes (0%) of dynamic memory, leaving 2039 bytes for local variables. Maximum is 2048 bytes.
Error: programmer is not responding
Warning: attempt 1 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x00

I have two Bluno Nanos running v1.97 and one Bluno Beetle running v1.97 which aren't programmable and one Bluno Beetle running v1.87 that IS programmable. The wiki for the FW downloader as indicated in the dev wiki here: https://wiki.dfrobot.com/dfr0267/docs/22543 using this link: https://www.dfrobot.com/image/data/DFR0267/Bluno%20Firmware%20Downloader/BlunoFWDownloaderV1.0%20windows.zip does not work. Can someone point me to the BlunoFWDownloader?

Hi, I've found the place where the firmware upgrade is available. You can take a look.

I tried the link you mentioned, but it turned out to be a 404 error.

"programmer is not responding / not in sync: resp=0x00" means your upload is going down the ISP/programmer path and getting no ACK from the chip. For a Bluno you upload sketches over the bootloader (USB/serial), not via an external programmer - so first make sure your Board is set to the Bluno and you're not accidentally selecting a "programmer"-style upload (e.g. "Upload using programmer" is off).

Then the telling clue is your v1.97 units all failing while a v1.87 unit works. Same board hardware, different result = it's the bootloader/fuses, not your cable or the IDE. The v1.97 units almost certainly ship with a different bootloader or with the ISP fuses set in a way that won't handshake with the current IDE.

Walk it in this order:

Board = Bluno Nano, upload via USB/serial (not programmer). If it compiles successfully first, that part is fine. Before uploading, hit reset and close any serial monitor that's holding the port.If the bootloader is actually dead/hosed, rebuild it with ArduinoISP from a working board - your v1.87 Bluno can be the ISP. For a Nano, programmer = "Arduino as ISP" while it rewires the same pins.If the v1.97 units have the ISP fuse locked (RSTDISBL), you'll need to clear that fuse first before ISP flashing will take.
