I purchased the DFRobot SEN0630 (IMX219-77-4Lane 8MP Camera for Raspberry Pi 5) from DigiKey.
I would like to connect this camera to an Altera Agilex 3 FPGA development board using a 22-pin, 0.5 mm pitch FFC cable and a MIPI CSI-2 interface.
Before powering on the camera, I would appreciate clarification of the following technical details.
1. Pin 6 (GPIO) function
What is the exact function of pin 6 on the SEN0630 22-pin connector?
Is it connected to PWDN, RESET, a voltage regulator enable input, or another circuit?
Is the signal active-high or active-low?
Does pin 6 require a pull-up or pull-down resistor during power-up?
What is the permitted voltage range for this signal?
2. 22-pin FFC cable and connector
Does the supplied FFC cable connect pin 1 to pin 1, pin 2 to pin 2, and so on?
Is the cable a same-side-contact or opposite-side-contact type?
Could you provide the part numbers of the FFC cable and the camera-side connector?
Could you confirm the physical location of pin 1 on the SEN0630 PCB?
3. MIPI CSI-2 and clock specifications
Does SEN0630 support 2-lane MIPI CSI-2 operation, in addition to 4-lane operation?
What is the sensor's external input clock frequency (INCK/XCLK)? Is it 24 MHz?
What is the supported MIPI data rate per lane?
Is the standard Raspberry Pi IMX219 register initialization sequence suitable for this module?
4. Power specifications
What is the expected current consumption from the 3.3 V supply?
Are there any special power sequencing requirements?
If available, could you please share the SEN0630 schematic, connector pinout drawing, or relevant hardware documentation?
I am keeping the camera powered off until the electrical connections and power requirements are confirmed.
Thank you very much for your technical assistance.
