ASR Board for Arduin is discontinued now, we recommend other Arduino Microcontrollers
as a suitable replacement. The ASR Board is an opensource voice recognition control board based on Arduino. Users are able to set keywords simply via host software, without any trainning or recording in advance. It is a highly efficient universal voice recognition module for Arduino.
The ASR Board is able to recognize 35 candidating sentences at a time, from single words, phrases to short sentences that are no more than 38-byte string. Multiple scenarios are supported with mono system. (Note: The number of keywords is inversely proportional to the length of keywords). After secondary development, users can have a maximum number of 50 single words, phrases or short sentences that are no more than 79-byte-string).
Besides recognizing voice, the ASR Board can also play audio files in AD4 format, enabling voice interactions. Communication with other Arduinos/microncontrollers can also be achieved via serial port. The module pre-set idle digital/analog ports for secondary development, allowing you to do further customizations. It is also compatible with Xbee and APC220 wireless module, which means you are free to add wireless voice control functions to projects. Note: This module ONLY works with external power supply.
