LattePanda Sigma TPM behavior with ESXi

Is there a sway to switch the TPM communications behavior on the LattePanda Sigma so that it can be used as a hardware TPM with ESXi?  It currently only acts like a consumer TPM and I don't see an option to change its communications path behavior in the EFI settings but I am wondering if it could be exposed or added.
