I am using a LattePanda Sigma with an ADT-Link R43SG M.2 to PCIe adapter to connect an external GPU.
The same R43SG + GPU works correctly on a LattePanda Delta 3, but does not work on the Sigma.
On the Sigma:
The GPU never enumerates (not in BIOS, not in Windows)
The BIOS shows “NVMe Configuration → No NVMe Device Found” for the M.2 slotslot
