I have a problem with the initialization of the "on obloq received" block. It doesn't initialize the variable "message" correctly, which make the code editor to stop working. Please have a review of your code.

Sorry, the line tracking sensor does not have the function of restoring to factory settings.
We recommend that you use pure black and pure white background colors for calibration.
The calibration steps are written at the bottom of the wiki:

We appreciate you for your support.
Regarding your inquiry for the IR receive model. Unfortunately, we have to say that this is the hardware problem on the Maqueen. Because the IR receiver on the Maqueen is using the NEC code

We think it may be because the remote control you are using is not compatible with Maqueen.
We understand your need to control Maqueen remotely and we have two solutions for this need.
1. Use a GamePad + another Microbit to control your Maqueen
GamePad:
https://www.dfrobot.com/pro...

2. Use the IR controller in the IR kit which released by us

So sorry for the misunderstanding.
We donot have the MicroPython Library for the MakeCode.
And we could provide you this Docs if you want to use Micro:Bit python editor.

Maqueen does not have a python tutorial yet. We currently only have makecode blocks and Mind+ programming methods

Can it be used with https://python.microbit.org... ?
Where can I find MicroPython libraries for working with microbit micropython editor and DFrobot products?
Thank you.

The N20 motor is using the Reduction Ratio: 1:150.
Sorry we donot have the specific N20 for sale.
The exact reference for this motor is:
Motor reduction ratio: 1:150
Motor maximum speed: 133 rpm
Motor drive mode: PWM motor drive

Hello DFRobot team,

I would like to know to which GPIO pins that the I2C SDA and I2C SCL on the Maqueen are connected?
SCL => P19
SDA => P20 ?

Thanks,

I need to know which micro:bit pins are already in use. I want my students to add more sensors to the micro:maqueen (SKU: ROB0148-EN). I've soldered some cables with a (Seeed's) Grove connector and a servo connector (3-ping female headers Ground, Vcc, Signal). I can connect them to the P0, P1, P2 connector, but need to know whether these pins are allready used by the robot (I know P0 is used by the speaker, but what about the others (P1 and P2). I've tried a simple sketch with an analog sound sensor and a Potentiometer and this works, but I don't know if this works when using other parts of the robot. Could I also use the Servo headers (S1 & S2) and what ports are they connected to? Basically I want to know which micro:bit ports are connected to which sensors/actuators.

I've created a large document with all sorts of trivia for Arduino, ESP8266, ESP32, micro:bit etc (900+ pages) and would also like to add some information about this nice litle Robot. My document is freely available at bit.ly/eve_arduino

Hi, If you want to connect external sensors to the Maqueen car, you can connect to the P1 and P2 ports. The S1 and S2 ports are special ports for the steering gear. You can connect to the steering gear to control some mechanical structures.

Is there a parts list for the maqueen somewhere? My google-fu is failing hard to find the part number for the motors. 150:1 and 133RPM doesn't match up to ANY of the pololu micro metal DC geared motor models. My son has dropped his and bent the output shaft on the gearbox, so I need to replace it. There's no identification info at all on the motor or attached gearbox :( Thanks!

Please click on the left to update the extension version in the code mode in makecode, the latest version of Maqueen extension supports microbitV2

Hi, can I use the micro gamepad with the maqueen, or do I need the micro bit attachment (the one with the red lights and the 2 buttons)?

Nevermind, I just found out you don't need the micro: bit

Hi Wim,

You can use P1 and P2 pins to connect the servos.
Unfortunately, the bluetooth connection usually doesn't work well with micro:bit. Right now, we have no intuition on what might be causing your issue with the bluetooth connection. Sorry about that.

Power may be not enough for 2 servo's. If a servo statement is in the init section Bluetooth connection fails, servo calls later no problem. My intuition was that it might be caused by common hardware just like the hardware timer in the servo/music playing case, see https://support.microbit.or... and dutch site http://www.codekids.nl/micr...

I once seen for the kitronik move robot an approach to correct in software the difference
in speeds of the motors by adapting a correction factor by trial and error until it will go straght

I tried to download the Makecode for the Maqueen and got an error. Please fix this so that I can use the software with Make Code.
