Hey, I am working on designing and open source guideline for a wireless bike shifting mechanism. Correct me if I am wrong, but I imagine I can have a bluetooth receiver on an arduino that I wish to receive inputs from 2 buttons. There are only 3 states needed, up, down, and a reset. Is there a chip that can be used that I could connect 2 buttons to that would send that data wirelessly to an arduino. The reason it needs to be wireless is because the rear derailleur (which is what shifts the back gears) is in the back of the bike, and the buttons to control it would optimally be somwhere on the handlebars. Please let me know, thanks.

Hi, please kindly note that you can achive it via 2 blunos or 1 bluno and 1 UNO BLE-Link module.
