Hello
I would like to use this sensor to measure a water level (dirty and crystalline). With LiDar sensors of other references I have had difficulties because the measurement obtained is the bottom of the container. The sensor beam goes through the water surface, instead of reflecting.

However, because I will be making a large purchase I would like to be sure of its operation.

This sensor is used to measure distance. I think it cannot be used to measure water level. If you need to measure water level, you can use SEN0204 or KIT0139
