This amazing reactive snake is a product of the ‘Press Play’ workshop organised by The Interactive Architecture Lab with the aim of giving participants experience in designing interactive installations.
The simplistic, open design, used 3D printing to produce key components, cut plastics and fishing line to manipulate the shape, triggered by multiple sensors measuring distance. Once disturbed the installation faces the subject and fires a jet of water.
The Interactive Architecture Lab is a studio at The Bartlett School of Architecture who explore the behaviour and interaction of things, environments and their inhabitants using robotics, wearables, the internet of things, performance and choreography.
Explore the performance of Small Language Models (SLMs) on the Raspberry Pi 5 SBC, including models like mathstral, phi 3, llama 3.1, gemma2 2b, and Qwen.
Explore our top picks for interactive sensors, DIY lighting, essential maker tools, and exciting project ideas to make this Halloween truly unforgettable!
This blog will provide an in-depth comparison of YOLOv10 and YOLOv8, analyzing their differences in model size, performance metrics, and hardware requirements.
